The Online Journal of Peace and Conflict Resolution dedicates this issue to the life of Dr. Valentin Krumov, a peace worker with the United Nations mission in Kosovo who was senslessly murdered during his first day on the job. Valentin's family, friends, and colleagues, as well as all of those interested in the practice of peace and conflict resolution, are saddened by this tragic loss of a man who enjoyed life to its fullest while practicing the noble and often thankless profession of peacemaker.
